Overall, the music flows seamlessly from one great track into another making the listener really feel the mood the movie presented: that is the ultimate goal of EVERY soundtrack, and City of Angels succeeds mightily at it. The Goo Goo Dolls had a hit with “Iris” on this soundtrack as well.Ĭaveat: there is an ‘R’ rated moment in one of the songs, so be careful who you play it around. I listen to this cd at least once a month and never tire of it.
This has to be one of the best rock soundtracks of the 90’s.
